Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using TripBau (“the App,” “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use TripBau.

These Terms apply to all users of TripBau.

2. Description of Service

TripBau is an AI-powered group travel planning application. TripBau helps users plan group and solo trips with AI-generated itineraries, coordinate group travel logistics, discover venues and activities, and receive day-of travel assistance.

TripBau is NOT:

• A licensed travel agency
• A transportation provider
• A hotel or venue booking service
• A guarantee of any specific experience

All bookings made through affiliate links are processed by third-party providers. TripBau is not responsible for the quality, safety, or availability of third-party services.

3. Account Registration

To use TripBau, you must be at least 13 years of age, create an account with a valid email address, provide accurate and complete information, and maintain the security of your account credentials.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use at hello@astragic.com.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use TripBau for any unlawful purpose
• Share your account with others
• Attempt to reverse engineer the application
• Use TripBau to harass, abuse, or harm others
• Submit false or misleading information
• Attempt to access other users' private trip data
• Use automated scripts or bots to interact with TripBau

5. AI-Generated Content

TripBau uses artificial intelligence to generate itineraries, recommendations, and travel suggestions. You acknowledge that:

• AI recommendations are suggestions only, not guarantees
• Venue information may change without notice
• TripBau is not responsible for inaccurate AI-generated content
• You should verify important details before visiting
• AI taste profiles are approximations based on your interactions

6. Group Trips and User Content

When you create or join a group trip, you consent to sharing your swipe preferences with group members, your display name and avatar are visible to other trip members, and trip itineraries are shared with all group members. You can leave a group trip at any time.

You retain ownership of any content you submit to TripBau. By submitting content, you grant TripBau a license to use that content to provide and improve the Service.

7. Affiliate Links and Third-Party Services

TripBau may earn affiliate commissions when you book hotels, flights, or experiences through links in the app. This does not affect the price you pay.

TripBau is not responsible for the quality or availability of third-party services, pricing changes, cancellation policies, or any disputes with third-party providers.

8. Push Notifications

By enabling notifications, you consent to receive morning briefings during active trips, trip updates and crew check-ins, and important account notifications. You may opt out at any time in your device settings or within the TripBau app.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TripBau and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, loss of data or trip information, any harm resulting from following AI-generated recommendations, any issues arising from third-party services or bookings, or travel disruptions or cancellations beyond our control.

Our total liability to you shall not exceed one hundred US dollars (US$100) in the aggregate.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TRIPBAU DOES NOT WARRANT THAT the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, AI recommendations will be accurate or suitable, or venue information will be current or complete.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the Service in any way.

You may delete your account at any time through the Profile screen. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via push notification or email. Continued use of TripBau after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Dakota, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Cass County, North Dakota.
